10 years of the Euro

Is there any Slovakian collector interested in one or more of these Portuguese?

Issued year - 2009, January

Commemorative coins bearing this design have been issued by all the 16 countries, starting last January. The design symbolises that the euro is the latest step in the long history of trade, from pre-historic barter, to Economic and Monetary Union.
Voting on the coin design, was open to all citizens or residents of the European Union and took place between 31 January and 22 February 2008. Voters could choose between 5 designs pre-selected by European Mint Directors. 141 675 participated in the vote. The winning design received 41.48% of the votes and it was created by Mr George Stamatopoulos at the Bank of Greece.

This is the second time that all euro-area countries issue a euro coin with a common design also on the national side, the first time being the issue of the commemorative 2 € coin celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome in 2007.

Who would say that I already had this coin since 2005, and I never mentioned it here. This magnificent coin features the 50th birthday of Grand Duke Henri, the 5th anniversary of his accession to the throne and the 100th anniversary of the death of Grand Duke Adolphe. Depicted in the centre of the coin is the effigy of Grand Duke Henri, looking to the right and superimposed on the effigy of Grand Duke Adolphe.

Unbelievable. These two missing german coins ("D" - Munich and "J" - Hamburg mintmarks), came from the small change found everyday. They became my 2nd and 3th 2008 german Bunsdesland series coins (3th of 16) and they feature St. Michael's Church, in Hamburg. Now, only the "A" - Berlin and "G" - Karslruhe mintmark coins are missing.

Human Rights - The Portuguese one

Issued year - 2008, September

At last I could get one of these magnificent portuguese 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights coins. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a declaration adopted by Great Assembly of United Nations in December 1948. This one is going to be side by side with the Belgium coin but I'm still missing the coin representing Italy, and also from Finland, issued this month. I'm trying to get some more of this beautiful coin celebrating Human Rights.

Today, October 25, I have these 6 available for swap

Is anyone out there interested in getting me the Italian or the Finish Human Rights coin, issued this month, in exchange for one or more of these portuguese?

Third Time's The Charm

Issuance year - 2008 - April/May
All those coins depicted in the picture could only result from a third swap with Wendy, from the Netherlands. And what can we say about this magnificent 2008 Belgium 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights coin? It came with a 2007 and a 2008 Bundesland Series coin, two Rome Treaty ones (one from Germany and one from Netherlands), a 2004 Italian World Food Program (all in the image) and also three currency finnish and austrian coins.
