Slovenian EMU coin

Issuance year - 2009, January

The wonderful Slovenian EMU commemorative coin and all the others depicted in the image were sent me by an Englishman, Michael Wheeler, living in Valencia, Spain. Beyond the Slovenian coin, he also sent the commemorative 2005 Austrian "50th anniversary of the Austrian State Treaty" and several missing currency coins, including one 20 cent 2003 S. Marino. Gracias, muchas gracias.
As a rule, euro countries may each issue only one €2 commemorative coin per year. Exceptionally, they are allowed to issue another, provided that it is a joint issuance like this EMU coin, and commemorates events of European-wide importance. These coins use a common design on the national side, showing the name of the issuing country as well as the event commemorated in the respective language(s).

Friendly neighbor

Last month, another friendly neighbor, Manuel Caja, from La Coruna, Spain, sent me these two rare and wonderful San Marino UNC coins: the 20 cent - shows a portrait of Saint Marinus, from a painting of Van Guercino, 17th century, and 50 centimes - shows the Three Towers: Guaita, Cesta and Montale, fortress of San Marino, in exchange of several portuguese currency coins. Muchas gracias, Manuel.
Now I must "only" get the 3 San Marino missing ones; 10 centimes, 1 and 2 €.

Most Serene Republic of San Marino is one of the European microstates and on the basis of an agreement with the European Union, can distribute Euro coins.

Commemorative Spanish coin - 2

Issuance year - 2007
Due to a swap with a "friendly galego neighbor" from Spain, I already have this Rome Treaty from España to be side by side with the Portuguese one. But I'm still missing all the other eleven Rome Treaty coins from 11 countries. Isn't there anyone from these countries interested in swapping those coins by the two Portuguese ones, Rome Treaty or Portuguese Presidency of the European Union?

Spain

So many coins here in Portugal of Spain, perhaps more than our ones.
D. Juan Carlos I, Miguel de Cervantes and a image of the Santiago of Compostela Cathedral are the 3 different images on the Spanish and not common side of coins during 9 years (1999-2007).
