Issued year - 2009, February
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaSaarland State - Bundesländer
1 Saajjj
22 coins (all depicted in the image) sent by Bernard de Waard, from Netherlands, in our first swap. In exchange for several portuguese coins, I receive his package with 21 currency and one fabulous commemorative Saarland State coin, featuring Ludwig Church in Saarbrücken with mintmark "G" - Karslruhe.
And we are now working on a new swap.
Thanks, Bernard.
Germany started the commemorative coin series "Die 16 Bundesländer der Bundesrepublik Deutschland" (The 16 States of the Federal Republic of Germany) in 2006. One coin representing a German state will be issued per year between 2006 and 2021 and will coincide with that state's presidency of the 'Bundesrat'.

Belgium - 2008 New Series

Another month, another swap with Wendy from The Netherlands. Among others she sent me 2 (2 € and 50 cent) shining 2008 Belgian coins (in 2008, Belgium slightly modified the design, although all the coins still depicts King Albert II).
Thanks.

Third Time's The Charm

Issuance year - 2008 - April/May
All those coins depicted in the picture could only result from a third swap with Wendy, from the Netherlands. And what can we say about this magnificent 2008 Belgium 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights coin? It came with a 2007 and a 2008 Bundesland Series coin, two Rome Treaty ones (one from Germany and one from Netherlands), a 2004 Italian World Food Program (all in the image) and also three currency finnish and austrian coins. Hartelijk dank.

Thanks again.

Issuance year - 2007
Yay, two new awesome commemorative coins from The Netherlands.
One of them is joining the other four 2007 Treaty of Rome in my collection (Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Germany -"D") and the other one is now available for swapping. The Belgium RT and the 2 € Belgium Commemorative "Atomium", the German RT, this two RT, and 22 more currency coins are all thanks to a swap with Wendy, from The Netherlands. Jolly Good.

Commemorative Belgian Rome Treaty

Issuance year - 2007

Amazing. In only one day, two fabulous commemorative Belgium coins were added to my collection, due to a swap with a nice Wendy, from The Netherlands. "The Atomium" and this wonderful Rome Treaty, that shows the Treaty document signed by the six founding countries in 1957. Really fantastic. This Treaty of Rome coin is the third, but there is more. See the next posts.

Holland (The Netherlands)

8 or 9 years of coins, since 1999 until 2006 at least. Probably of 2007 too, but not all the 8 coins of 8 different values for each year. After September 2004 they have decided that the one and two cent coins aren't in issue anymore.
